Terms of Use
Last updated October 17, 2026
In short: GA-WA connects people who need a job done with independent workers nearby. You see the price before you book, you pay the worker in cash, and workers pay GA-WA a small fee from their wallet. Be honest, be safe and be kind.
1. What GA-WA is
GA-WA is a platform that connects clients who need small jobs done (repairs, cleaning, moving and more) with workers who do them. Workers are independent: they are not GA-WA employees, and they decide when to go online and which jobs to take. By using the GA-WA website or apps, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to make an account.
- Use your real name and your own mobile number, and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account.
3. For clients
- Describe the job honestly and add clear photos, so the price and the worker fit the job.
- The price shows before you book. Jobs start at ₱200, and harder or dirtier jobs cost more, shown upfront.
- Pay the worker the agreed price in cash once the job is done. Tips are welcome and go fully to the worker.
- Keep the worker safe while they are in your home or place of work.
4. For workers
- Before your first job you must send a government ID, a clear selfie, and barangay, police and NBI clearances. Our team reviews them on working days and may approve or reject an application.
- Only take jobs you have the skills and tools for, and do them with care.
- GA-WA's platform fee is 10% of the first ₱500 of a job plus 15% of the amount above ₱500. For example, on a ₱500 job the fee is ₱50 and you keep ₱450. Tips are not charged a fee.
- Because clients pay you in cash, the fee is taken from your GA-WA wallet. Your wallet needs the minimum balance shown in the app before you can take a cash job.
- Your clearances must stay valid. We may ask you to send new ones.
5. Rules for everyone
- No harassment, threats, discrimination or unsafe behaviour.
- No illegal jobs, and no fake accounts, fake jobs or fake documents.
- Do not take a job you found on GA-WA off the app to avoid the fee.
- Use the Report button if something goes wrong. Our team reviews every report.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell the authorities about anything that may be a crime.
6. Problems with a job
If a job goes wrong, first try to sort it out with the other person in the chat. If you can't, tap Report and our team will look into it. Because the job itself is agreed between the client and the worker, GA-WA is not responsible for the quality of the work or for loss or damage caused by a client or worker, except where the law says otherwise.
7. The service
We work hard to keep GA-WA running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app when the change matters. If you keep using GA-WA after that, you accept the new terms.
9. Law and contact
These terms follow the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. For questions about them, message us through the Report button in the GA-WA app (our email address will be listed here soon).
